Lancaster Inn & Suites

From the moment we arrived, the property was well-kept, plenty of parking. Walk thru the door, greeted by a nice lady at the front desk, everything inside the lobby was clean and neat, very pretty country decor. Check in was quick and we were up to our room. Rooms had two big, comfy beds with lots of pillows, clean white sheets and duvets, ac was on point and the floors were modern and so was the bath. We went out to grab a couple of things at the Dollar General (right down the street) then picked up pizza at this little Italian place on the way back. Delicious. Kids and I had a little pizza party in the room with movies on the TV and passed out. The next morning we went down for free breakfast, DELICIOUS! Waffle makers, sausage gravy and biscuits, juices, coffee, tea, muffins and bagels, all yummy. Then we got in the pool. Very clean, towels were clean and there were plenty. The pool furniture was in great condition. The farm view out back was gorgeous. Check out was a breeze and we made sure to let them know we will DEFINITELY be back!

We couldn’t rate this property more highly. The staff went above and beyond with directions, pleasantries and smiles. The front desk staff were both outstanding. The room was clean, comfortable and the ac was fully controlled by us. The room has been newly decorated. The corridors and front desk have not but don’t be scared of that, they are like a well looked after living room. The fashion may have changed slightly but they are clean, smell nice and well looked after. Quaint! There were plenty of towels both in the room and by the pool. The pool is a hidden gem. The views around it are amazing, no looking onto car parks but instead a wide green space of football fields and agricultural fields. Perfect temperature, lots of room to sit around the outside and comfortable shade when required. There is a very useful guest laundry and at $3 a pop it’s also very affordable. There is 24 hour coffee/ hot water facilities at reception which was a lovely surprise. Ice and vending machines were conveniently available. Breakfast was very pleasant and there was a wide range of continental style food. We loved the addition of the sausage gravy for the biscuits. The man on duty at breakfast was excellent. The property feels safe and there are local amenities who will deliver food.

We were so appreciative of the management allowing us to lock out bikes under the porch roof. We have a new electric assist bike that was very expensive for us, so we were nervous about the 100% chance of rain in the forecast. The view out our window was lovely. Beds are comfortable, and we loved having a sofa to relax on after our long bike ride.

The entire hotel was clean and efficiently run. The 24 hour coffee bar had very good coffee and there was real half and half there during the day, which was appreciated. The pool and exercise room also looked pristine. The room was very clean and appeared recently remodeled... no smells, no carpet, bright bathroom with large vanity, spotless linens.

The rooms are modern and clean. The bathrooms have nice fixtures and the beds are comfortable. The staff was wonderful. The location is the real selling point for this place if you're at the soccer complex, but it is also a very nice place to stay.
